About Isaac Buurstra

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.  The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.  In Snohomish, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local boy, Isaac Buurstra.

Isaac is the son of Tim and Paige Buurstra.  Born on February 06, 2012, Isaac was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease.  The doctors at Seattle Children’s Hospital have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant.  An estimated $75,000 is being raised by Snohomish volunteers.

We're thrilled to announce...

Coming 2/23 - The choirs Breath of Aire and Mosaic are performing in a joint concert to benefit the Children's Organ Transplant Association in honor of Isaac Buurstra! Isaac received his kidney transplant late last year and is doing great, but we're still working to complete our $75000 fundraising goal. We're 70% there!

Tickets to the concert are $12.50, which will cover the cost of producing the concert. A freewill donation will be collected at the concert with all proceeds benefiting COTA to pay for kids' organ transplants.

Please spread the word! There are 492 seats and we'd love to fill the theater.

Where: Snohomish Performing Arts Center (at Snohomish High School)
When: Sunday February 23rd at 6PM (Doors open at 5:30)
Cost: $12.50 for tickets. A freewill donation will also be collected during the event.
How to buy tickets: Contact Andrew Moe to purchase tickets at 425-835-3765 or andrew@themoefamily.net
